The TAPMI School of Business is hosting a management conclave titled “Localism and Sustainable Consumption: Fostering Responsible Production at the Community Level” on 30th August 2024. The conclave highlights the essential intersection between local economic development and environmental stewardship. It also emphasizes the importance of fostering regional businesses and supply chains to reduce carbon emissions and enhance community resilience. The theme emphasizes the significance of firms and customers in advancing a shift towards responsible production methods, which entail the effective utilization of local resources and the incorporation of ecologically sustainable practices into community-oriented economic models. The conclave aims to stimulate pragmatic approaches to foster a sustainable and cohesive local economy.
